OK, these are a pair of socks I'm working on. They're made with Blue Moon Fiber Arts Socks that Rock yarn, medium weight, in the Fire on the Mountain colorway. I'm knitting a waffle pattern of K2, P2 for 3 rows, then 3 all for 3 rows.

WOW your FOTM sure looks different from what's on my needles right now. But I suppose that has to do with that lovely thing called gauge and monitor interpretation of colors. I really need to spend some time with my Barbara Walker books looking at stitch patterns. Everyone seems to have such neat ideas for going beyond plain vanilla stockinette stitch.
